ROOM 429 (four twenty-nine) is an independent creative studio based in Los Angeles, driven by creative experimentation and collaboration. Our work in portraiture explores individuality, self-expression, and the people in front of the lens. We approach image-making as both a creative practice and an opportunity to connect. We believe in challenging the limits we place on ourselves, taking creative risks, and creating without fear of failure or the pressure of comparison. Our process is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that creativity thrives when people are encouraged to experiment from a place of freedom, not fear. Some of the most influential ideas begin in ordinary spaces, where people share perspectives and create something beyond what they could have imagined alone.
